Veterinarian Suwan Yimcharoen, an expert on shrimp diseases from the Department of Fisheries, a recognized authority on economic animals from NRCT, and chairman of the Black Tiger Shrimp Cluster in the eastern and central regions, delivered a presentation on "Strategic Process and Sales." His talk garnered great interest from the audience, with active Q&A sessions. Dr. Jeab enthusiastically shared his expertise on shrimp farming and shrimp marketing.
The event also featured panel discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions led by speakers from government, private sectors, and independent academics. These Q&A sessions provided guidance on solving issues within the shrimp industry, offering alternatives and solutions to ensure the survival and competitiveness of Thai shrimp in the global market.
Exhibitions and Innovations
In addition, the event hosted exhibition booths displaying innovations in marine shrimp farming and sea-related products by private companies to educate attendees. The Department of Fisheries also showcased an exhibition on disease prevention and provided basic disease diagnostic services from the Aquatic Animal Health Research and Development Center.
